Position Title: Product Designer

Location: Nashville Tennessee

Our client is a rapdly growing company in one of the hottest markets in the country - Nashville, TN.  They are seeking multiple Product Designers to join their team.  The company relies heavily on their corporate web site and mobile site for their users to consume their services.  If you want to join one of the product teams in Nashville please see the details below.  This is a great opportunity for someone that enjoys rebuilding and creatively creating what will be new design for the company.  This is not a maintainer role.


  • Champion user-centered design internally and externally
  • Absorb and evangelize UI/UX best practices and techniques based on industry trends
  • Be the voice of the user in the product process
  • Create wireframes and prototypes across platforms (e.g., web, mobile, and desktop)
  • Drive UI/UX consistency across the team and products
  • Guide designs that consider business goals and the impact across all products
  • Effectively communicate designs, and solicit/integrate feedback collaboratively
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, data analysts, marketers and engineers
  • Receive, evaluate, and integrate feedback from key stakeholders
  • Work closely with user researchers and contribute to research strategies
  • Present designs in a clear, confident, and logical manner
  • Partner with engineering to ensure that implementation of user experience is of high-quality
  • Help guide, improve, and implement design and feedback processes
  • Regularly share design iterations and project updates with company leadership
  • Mentor other designers, and help lead critique, design reviews, quarterly planning, and sprint planning


  • 3-5 years of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design for multiple products including:
  • Working knowledge of web technologies and frameworks (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React)
  • Experience with front-end coding a plus
  • Shipping product: you’ve weathered release cycles and know what details matter at each stage, how to motivate engineers to get the fit and finish right, how to translate insights from user studies into meaningful action, and what’s most likely to go afoul at each stage.
  • User-centered design (e.g., conduct user research, user testing, data analysis, journey mapping, etc.)
  • Cross-platform design (e.g., web, mobile, etc.) and knowledge of why different styles work on different platforms
  • Demonstrated proficiency in creating low- to high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and technical documentation using industry tools (e.g., Sketch, Adobe CreativeCloud, InVision, Axure, Framer, Microsoft Office, etc.)
  • An outstanding portfolio showcasing a foundation in typography, interaction and visual design, and idea generation
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for our users, the design discipline, and collaboration
  • Ability to work quickly, independently and effectively on multiple products in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in visual design, interaction design, human factors, human-computer interaction, or equivalent professional experience
