Position Title: Principal Healthcare Consultant

Location: Nashville Tennessee
Our client is one of Nashville's best employers.  They have an excellent reputation as a consulting firm and trusted strategic partner to their clients.  They are in need of experienced Consultants in the healthcare space.  They are hiring two Principal Healthcare Consultants to assist or lead teams in scoping new projects, presenting proposals, and writing statements of work.  In this role you will do a combination of consulting delivery, managing the work of others and business development/networking.
  • Effectively leading multiple and/or complex consulting projects at one or more clients
  • Ensuring meaningful client value is delivered based on client goals and expected outcomes
  • Developing trusted, long-term relationships with key client influencers and client buyers
  • Assisting growth by identifying sales opportunities with existing clients and developing new clients
  • Managing teams of consultants and client staff at client site
  • Working with company leadership to staff projects with required skillsets and expertise
  • Mentoring and develop team members to meet their professional goals
  • Leading the execution of internal healthcare services projects, including revenue growth and contribution
  • Being a contributing author on written communications and other knowledge sharing opportunities
  • Teaching others how to develop valuable business development skills, tools, templates, and frameworks
  • Inspiring and motivating team members through high engagement and results-oriented approaches
  • Leveraging experience and credibility in healthcare to develop new solutions for our clients
  • Partnering with client executives on account management activities for key clients
  • 10+ years of management consulting, advisory, professional services, and/or Big 4 consulting experience
  • Proven experience in one or more areas of healthcare provider, health plan, and/or physician practice consulting
  • Experience in supporting business expansion within existing clients and identifying new business opportunities
  • Proposal development experience, including the ability to effectively sell business solutions to clients
  • Delivery experience driving business requirements, identifying gaps and omissions, and designing solutions
  • Success in driving and managing significant account growth for key clients
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Master's degree and/or professional certifications
  • Demonstrated track record of managing large and complex consulting engagements
  • Ability to establish immediate credibility with clients and within the company
  • Able to build consensus and achieve goals through influence
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills - verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Creative thinking and ability to seek innovative solutions to complex business problems
